Every litre of water, unit of electricity and square metre of growing space matters.

Our production systems are therefore being designed to improve efficiency while creating a reliable source of fresh food.

01Water

Designed around one of agriculture's most important resources.

Water management is fundamental to the LIMUERA production model. The campus is being designed to combine efficient hydroponic irrigation with capture, storage and recovery so that water is used carefully and reused wherever practical.

The objective is to reduce unnecessary water consumption while protecting production reliability.

02Energy

Efficiency first. Renewables as we scale.

Environmental control requires energy, making efficiency an important part of greenhouse design.

LIMUERA's strategy includes efficient environmental equipment, targeted LED lighting used only where it provides a production benefit, and the planned integration of solar generation as the campus develops.

03Crop Management

Prevention before intervention.

Integrated pest management combines environmental control, crop monitoring, preventative practices and biological approaches to maintain crop health while reducing unnecessary chemical intervention.

04Waste & Packaging

Closing the loop on what leaves the greenhouse.

Plant waste generated by cultivation can be composted and reused within agricultural operations.

Packaging strategy will increasingly favour recyclable and compostable materials while continuing to protect freshness, quality and food safety.
